Get together in chi-town, Dec. 27th 7:00pm at Chicago Brauhaus. Good times, good beer, good people. Its going to be a good night of fun for all so let me know if you are interestd in coming if you haven't already
As I said below I was there on Sunday so the place had already had tons of foot traffic through it from Alumni on Saturday. I Have yet to receive the audio from the meeting from the guys at school. As soon as I have it I will post it.
Dear Brothers,
For those of you who were unable to attend, Homecoming was a great success this year. Countless hours culminated in a wonderful experience for all. As Brother Jenner mentioned in his earlier post, Curt Arndt (class of ’78) was a major player in orchestrating the large number of alumni that returned this year. Over the last few years we have seen a large increase in the number of alums that attend Homecoming and hopefully that number will continue to grow.
I figured I would drop a story out here and mention a few things.
First off, homecoming happened over this last weekend. I apologize for the lack of info that was disseminated over the website, but it turns out a large collection of late 70's crows had organized and were having a big bash at the house. Unfortunately because of the segmented nature of our alumni I didn't hear about it to post it on here, and none of them are members of the site (though it seems a few do know it exists).
Dear Crows,
[Note: Please see the upcoming events section for specific information about attending the sword ceremony.]
The cost of this year's sword will be approximately $400.00 and I will be coordinating fundraising. Fraternity brothers, friends and family can mail checks to me, payable to the "Navy Mallet Fund." This year your donations can receive Purdue donation credit (for those John Purdue Club members) and will be TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
Please mail your checks and money orders to:

Last year we got together over the holidays at an Irish bar named Fado's just north of the loop. I know Homecoming is coming up but I'd like to poison some minds with the thought of another Chicago gettogether either downtown or wherever. We could schedule it so the guys down at school who live in the area will be back and maybe a few of them will attend as well. I guess replay to this message with restaurant ideas and maybe we can start hammering out a date. Below is a group shot of last year at Fado's on December 22nd.
This is from a while back. I think it was someones birthday or something.
